Felix Kreutzer (Düsseldorf, Germany, 1835-1876), Moonlit Harbor Scene, Oil on Canvas, signed lower right, depicting a moonlit harbor, likely the Dutch port of Dordrecht, marker owner inscription on verso of frame, in a giltwood frame with artist plaque. Frame size: 26 1/4 in. x 33 1/4 in. Provenance: From the collection of Arthur Warren Kinkade Jr. (1919-1987), prominent banker in Wichita, Kansas, by decent to the consignor.
Felix Kreutzer was a German painter who lived from 1835 to 1876. He was born in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was a student at the academy, and has exhibitions in Berlin or at the Rhein Kunstverein. Felix Kreutzer was a pupil of the KA Düsseldorf and was known for his landscape paintings. (AskArt)
