Territory' lower right and 'Sioux Chief Spotted Eagles...Lodge Village Tongue River Valley, Montana, Nov. 1879' lower left, numbered '76C' bottom left corner, double matted in a wood frame. Frame size: 20 in. x 31 in.

Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) was born October 31, 1854, on a frontier farm near Castalia, Iowa. Huffman's desire to push westward came from his heritage, from tales of adventure told to him by his predecessors. Laton spent most of his life hunting and photographing the area around his Montana home.

Measurements: Height: by sight 10 in. x Width: 21 3/4 in.

Condition:

Good condition, paper very slightly wavy, minor toning.
