Attributed to Etienne Aubry (French, 1746–1781), A Visit to Grandmother, Oil on Canvas, unsigned, depicting a family with children gathered together in an interior, in a giltwood frame with artist plaque. Frame size: 24 1/4 in. x 30 1/4 in. Provenance: From the collection of Arthur Warren Kinkade Jr. (1919-1987), prominent banker in Wichita, Kansas, by decent to the consignor.

Measurements: Height: by sight 17 5/8 in. x Width: 23 1/2 in.

Condition:

Good restored condition, relined, minor craquelure, possible repaired tear from center of top edge into standing figure in brown coat, two possible repaired punctures in chest of figure in white dress and center of left edge, other scattered areas of minor inpainting throughout figures and background, varnish yellowed, wear and repairs to frame.
