Description:
Two Chinese Ancestor Portraits on Silk, 20th C, a pair of portraits depicting a seated female and male figure in blue robes decorated with dragons, signed and stamped along right and left edge, both with 'ArtLore' labels 'Ancestor by Sung, Original Tempura' on versos, matted and in parcel gilt and wood frames. Frame size: 47 1/2 in. x 39 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: by sight of both 35 3/4 in. x Width: 27 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, possibly some fading and toning to silk, not viewed out of frames, light wear to frames.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
