Description:

Scandinavian Carved Ivory Sun Dial, c. 1750, the oval ivory dial carved with masted ship and decorative border, mounted in metal and wood case, marked on underside.

Measurements: Height: overall 2 3/4 in. x Width: 5 3/4 in. x Depth: 2 7/8 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, natural striations in ivory, some small age cracks to edges of ivory dial, mostly on bottom and top edge, pitting to metal, minor wear and scratches.
