Map of the Entrance of the Savannah River, Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, Page 87, December 28th, 1861, captioned and titled in German left edge and lower edge below map, with handwritten inscription on verso: 'Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, edition in English, Pg. 87, Dec. 28, 1861, Grant Southern Expedition, map of the entrance of Savannah River showing the partition of the various fortifications and sunken vessels, the location of the city of Savannah, and the county adjacent', matted and framed. Frame size: 14 1/2 in. x 20 5/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 9 1/2 in. x Width: 15 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some toning to paper, foxing, faint creases, right edge trimmed and patched, small tear center of left edge, slightly loose in frame, not viewed out of frame.
