Regency Tabletop Terrestrial Globe, W & S Jones, C. 1807, the 12 in. globe labeled 'W & S. Jones Holborn, London, The new twelve inch British Terrestrial Globe, representing the accurate positions of the principal known places of the Earth, from the discoveries of Captain Cook and subsequent circumnavigators, to the present period, 1802, with additions to 1807' with astrological circumference ring, on tabletop stand with turned legs joined by an x-form stretcher.Measurements: Height: overall 21 in. x Width: 17 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, craquelure to surface of globe, some restored cracks on top of globe, some repaired cracks and wear and chipping to edges of circumference ring chart, stand with repair to stretcher.
