Description:
Regency Rosewood Tea Caddy, 19th Century, of sarcophagus form, the interior with two lidded sections flanking a central bowl recess.Measurements: Height: 7 1/8 in. x Width: 11 3/4 in. x Depth: 5 3/4 in.
Condition:
Old marks and scratches, age cracks to wood, wear to edges, handles on tea compartments replaced, lacking glass bowl, hinges slightly loose, lacking locking mechanism on lid, some losses to veneer on lid, pitting to metal elements, lacking feet.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
