Description:

American Diminutive Grain-Painted Pine Storage Cabinet, Probably New England c. 1840-50, the triangular pediment above doors opening to three graduated shelves with faux painted edges, the entirety grain painted in tones of red and green. Together with original bill of sale for $45,000.

Provenance: David Wheatcroft, 2003; Jean & Howard Lipman Collection, Sotheby's November 14, 1981, lot 387; Ralph Esmerian Collection.

Measurements: Height: 33 1/4 in. x Width: 24 3/4 in. x Depth: 12 in.

Condition

Overall good condition, with some old marks and scratches, wear to paint, loss to left side upright and bottom of right door, door pull appears to be replaced.
