R. Houston, Reverend William Percey, Engraving, c. 1774, after original painting by J. Russel, engraved by R. Houston 1774, printed for Carrington Bowles, London, depicting the Reverend William Piercy, an English dessenting minister that served as Chaplin and President of Georgia College, standing in clergy robe with city scape in background, with copy of related page from 'British Mezzotinto Portraits' by John C. Smith attached to verso, matted and framed. Frame size: 22 in. x 18 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 14 in. x Width: 10 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, paper slightly wavy, toned, some foxing, possible mat burn, not viewed out of frame.
