Prideaux John Selby (English, 1788-1867), Ruff, Engraving, plate 35, hand colored engraving from 'Illustrations of British Ornithology', 1821-1834/1841-1846, matted and framed. Frame size: 27 5/8 in. x 33 5/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 18 in. x Width: 24 in.
Condition:
Good condition, minor toning to paper, some scattered foxing marks, faint diagonal crease from center of bottom edge into young ruff, not viewed out of frame, light wear to edges of frame.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
