Description:
Pair of Japanese Nippon Plates, Chinese Cloisonne Vase and Metal Teapot, comprising a pair of 8 3/8 in. Japanese Nippon plates, marked in red on underside, a 7 1/2 in. Chinese cloisonne vase, 20th century, and metal teapot with trivet, with 'kotobuki' labels on verso.Measurements: Height: of teapot 8 in. x Width: 8 in. x Depth: 7 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some rust and pitting to teapot, particularly to trivet, wear and scratches to surface of plates with some losses to enamel decorations, small frits to edges of plates, minor pitting to metal of cloisonne, small cracks to cloisonne on bottom and top edges.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
