Picasso, Femme (A.R. 296), Madoura Pottery Pitcher, (Spain, 1881-1973) conceived in 1955 and executed in an edition of 100, partially glazed and engraved ceramic pitcher, stamped 'Madoura Plein Feu' and 'D'Apres Picasso' and signed 'Picasso' on bottom.
A creative partnership between Picasso and Madoura Pottery workshop in Vallauris lasted for 24 years and resulted in many beautiful limited editions.
