Nicolas Visscher (Dutch, c. 1550-c. 1612), Double Hemisphere Map of the World, Orbis Terrarum Nova et Accuratissima Tabula, Hand Colored Engraving, c. 1658, double hemisphere map, captioned along top edge 'Orbis Terrarum Nova et Accuratissma, auctore Nicolao Visscher' and printed 'N. P. Berchem invent', with surrounding mythological scenes, letter stamp in top right corner, matted and framed. Frame size: 26 3/4 in. x 30 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 19 in. x Width: 22 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, toning, foxing, central vertical crease, tear from center of bottom edge, not viewed out of frame.
