Ferndinand Mifliez (1865-1923), Griffon Cycles French Advertising Poster, c. 1900, signed 'Misti' lower left, printed 'Imp. Du Griffon, Parris', depicting a vignette of a woman riding a bicycle through the country side, with Griffon figure presiding, unframed. Size of linen 64 1/2 in. x 38 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 61 in. x Width: 35 5/8 in.
Condition:
A-/B+ condition, European linen backed, paper toned, creases, small tears and losses along edges and in corners, creases throughout poster image, stain upper right quadrant near corner, some areas of faint ink transfer inherent to printing process, faint foxing.
