Description:
Large Porcelain Boar's Head Tureen, unmarked, lidded tureen in the form of a boar's head. Provenance: according to the consignor this was from Henry Moog, Atlanta, GA.Measurements: Height: 11 1/2 in. x Width: 14 1/2 in. x Depth: 8 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good condition, minor wear to glaze with some small losses in fur, chip to back of head on edge of lid, small chip on corner of mouth on lid, chip to gums above teeth under nose, and firing crack on edge of lid.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
