Description:

Jean-Francois de Neufforge (Belgian, 1714-1791) 8 Architectural Prints, c. 1757, comprising "Façade d'un Batiment de l'ordre Corinthien.." inscription under title, "Façade d'un Batiment de l'ordre Ionique.." with inscription under title (creases upper left side), "Facade pour une Maison de 22 Toises" (creasing along upper edge), "Facade pour la Salle de Bal," with authentication label on back stating "Date: 1757, Origin: Paris, Process: Hand colored Engraving, Artist: Neufforge, Subject: Architecture," "Suite du Troate contenant divers Bâtiments..," "XIV Developpement pour un Vatiment de neuf Toises de face.." (long central horizontal crease from left, minor loss upper left edge), "XXVI Developpement pour un Batiment de dix neuf Toises de face.." and "XXVII Developpement pour un Batiment de vingt Toises de face.." (small crease lower left corner), all with "Compose et grave pour de Neufforge" lower left and "A Paris chez l'auteur rue St. Jacques au Chariot d'or avec Privilege du Roy" lower right with Christie's labels on backs, uniformly matted and in giltwood frames. Frame size: 19 1/8 in. x 24 5/8 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight of Corinthien, 9 3/8 in. x Width: 14 7/8 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, some toning and occasional foxing throughout, likely some mat burn, not viewed out of frames, light wear to frames, see description.
