Description:
Japanese Bronze Mirror with Lacquer Box, Meiji Period, in a fitted lacquer box decorated with gilt flowers, the mirror with bamboo wrapped handle and the back decorated with a landscape scene with birds and plants.Measurements: Height: overal length of mirror 13 3/4 in. x Width: diameter of mirror 9 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some pitting and scratches to mirror, minor losses to bamboo on handle, some cracks and chips to lacquer box, one edge of box broken and repaired.
