John James Audubon (American, 1785-1851), Warbling Fly Catcher, Havell Edition, 1831, hand colored engraving and aquatint on wove paper, with J. Whatman 1831 watermark, plate CXVIII, No. 24, depicting birds with magnolias, elaborately matted and in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 43 in. x 35 in. Sheet size: 38 in. x 25 in.Measurements: Height: of plate 19 1/2 in. x Width: 12 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good condition, restoration to some edges, loss top right and left corners, lower right corner restored, minor foxing.
