(Early Patriots and the American Revolution) 14 Articles, comprising Thomas Pinckney (1750-1828) clipped signature and a signed document; William Dewitt (d. 1813) document signed (poor condition, in fragments); John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg (1746-1807) document signed; James Craig (1754-1820) document signed (partial); Thomas Evans (d. c. 1800) signed as witness on South Carolina land indenture, 1794, David Nelson sells 150 acres to George Evans, witnessed by Thomas Evans and Ezecial Evans (poor condition); John Dubose (1779-1845) 1815 document regarding the division of the estate of W. Newman signed by 5 men, including John Dubose; a bill for Patrick Henry (1736-1799) dated 1792, "to Coopers work done on Colo. Henry's plantation on Leatherwood"; Robert Long (c. 1763-1842) signed document; Francis K. Huger (1773-1855, son in law to Thomas Pinckney, rescued Lafayette in Austria) clipped signature; Stephen Girard (1750-1831) manuscript signed, in French; Stephen Ravenel (1770-1818) South Carolina land deed for John Cassels to John M. Kinder signed as witness by Stephen Ravenel on verso; James B. Richardson (1770-1836) signed document; letter to Joseph Clay (1741-1804, American Patriot of Savannah, GA); and a matted print depicting South Carolina Revolutionary War generals.
