[American Revolution, Continental Congress] Letters and Signatures and a Matted Print, comprising a Thomas Fairfax (1692-1782, 6th Baron of Fairfax, friend and adviser to George Washington) signed letter to George Fairfax (d. 1787, President of the council in Virginia) regarding Estate business, one page with address leaf, undated (size of sheet folded: 7 in. x 4 5/8 in., address leaf mounted at edges, minor repair to fold in center, toning); a James Sullivan (1744-1808, Revolutionary War statesman, member of Continental Congress, Governor of Massachusetts) clipped end portion from a document with signature and a portrait etching (2 3/4 in. x 7 3/8 in., foxing and toning, creases and folds, wear and small tears to edges); a Charles Carroll (signer of the Declaration of Independence) complete address leaf, Free Franked, by him and addresses to John H. Latrobe of Annapolis (his attorney and biographer), c. 1829 (9 7/8 in. x 7 7/8 in.), minor toning and foxing, wear and small creases and tears to edges, creases from folding, folds with associated tears, small loss to papier in wax stamp residue); a Clement Biddle (1740-1814, 'The Quaker General', fought under Nathaniel Green), signed letter dated Nov. 22, 1785 to William B. Magreuder regarding finances (9 in. x 7 3/8 in., toning and foxing, holes and losses to page, wear to edges, minor tears at edges, creases from folding); and a matted print of South Carolina Revolutionary War Leaders (wear to edges of mat, not viewed out mat)Measurements: Height: overall of print 14 1/2 in. x Width: 11 in.
