Description:
Continental Parquetry Secretary, 18th Century, the rectangular overhanging cornice above glazed doors opening to shelves and three drawers, the slant lid opening to an arrangement of drawers and pigeonholes centering a well, the lower section with two short drawers over two long drawers on bracket feet.Measurements: Height: 86 1/2 in. x Width: 39 in. x Depth: 32 in.
Condition:
Good overall condition, old marks and scratches, wear to edges, minor patches to veneer, feet replaced, short drawer in base relined with pine (rest has oak secondary).Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
