Jules Cheret (French, 1836-1932), Bonnard-Bidault, Poster, c. 1887, signed lower left, printed '408 Imprimperie, Chaix (Succ. Le Cheret), 18 rue Brunel, Paris', depicting a woman in yellow with trumpet and banner, unframed. Size of linen 50 5/8 in. x 36 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 48 3/8 in. x Width: 34 3/8 in.
Condition:
B/B+ condition, linen backed, paper lightly toned, multiple restored tears center of top edge into image, tear and restoration upper left edge in border and background of image, restored tear and losses from bottom left corner along left edge, other small tears and restoration along edges.
