Leonetto Cappiello (1875-1942), Biscotines Union, Poster, c. 1906, signed lower left, printed 'Imp. P. Vercasson & Cie. 43, rue de lancy, Paris' and 'Creation P. Vercasson & Cie., Paris', depicting a figure with red hair and green hat biting into a large biscuit against a black ground, unframed. Size of linen 57 5/8 in. x 41 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 54 1/4 in. x Width: 38 1/2 in.
Condition:
A- condition, linen backed, paper very lightly toned, hole punch in border center of left edge, central horizontal crease, restored creases in center of biscuit and in lower left quadrant, small tear in border right bottom edge, two 1 in. tears in border along top edge, some faint marks in black ground, pinholes in corners of linen.
