Description:
5 Burmese Lacquer Betelnut Boxes, comprising a 2 in. x 8 1/8 in. black box decorated with motifs and elephants, a 2 /4 in. x 8 1/4 in. red and gilt box with divided interior (wear to gilt, cracks in lacquer, some losses to edges of divider), a 5 in. x 7 1/8 in. red box decorated with pale red hatched motifs and with divided interior with etched 'CCC' mark on underside (wear to edges, cracks to lacquer), a 6 1/4 in. x 7 1/4 in. red box with black and green decoration and divided interior (wear and chips to edges, cracks to lacquere, interior compartments with wear, small losses to edges, and surface grime), and a 3 3/8 in. x 13 1/4 in. black box decorated with motifs of birds and figures (some minor cracks to lacquere, mostly in interior, light wear to edges).Measurements: Height: of largest 3 3/8 in. x Width: 13 1/4 in.
