Description:

3 Antique Helvetian Engraved and Hand-Colored Maps, 17th/18th C, circa 1683 - 1715, depicting portions of modern-day Switzerland, including Helvetiae Antiquae Geographicus Index, with cartouche with angel upper right, large vignettes along right side depicting farms and a mountain in the upper left corner, Nova Helvetiae Tabula Geographica, by Johann Jacob Scheuchzer; Pieter Schenk, Amsterdam, cartouche with giant upper left corner, with mountains below and further vignettes along top edge, the third with large mountain vignette in lower right quadrant, untitled with text excerpt lower left, all with green, yellow and pink illustration, with gallery label from Zurich on versos, all in giltwood frames. Frame size of largest: 22 3/4 in. x 26 1/2 in.

Measurements: Height: by sight of largest, 21 1/8 in. x Width: 24 7/8 in.

Condition:

Overall good condition, toning, fading, all three with central vertical crease, not viewed out of frames, some foxing, light wear to frames.
