Description:
2 Pieces of Japanese Sumidagawa Pottery, comprising a vase with applied elephants on a green ground, unmarked, and a lidded censure with fu dog and figures, marked on side near base. Size of censure: 6 in. x 7 1/4 in. x 3 3/4 in.Measurements: Height: of vase 9 3/8 in. x Width: 5 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, craquelure to glaze on censure, minor wear to painted grounds, hairline crack on rim of vase.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction.
