Fine and Decorative Art from the Estate of Arthur B. Kouwenhoven Jr., February 5th-24th. Kouwenhoven was an avid collector and supporter of working artists. He started his career with the legendary design firm Jansen Inc., NY where his client list included the Kennedy White House. Highlights from the auction include ‘Floating Pig’ by John Wesley, 6 works by Paul Cadmus, a Nakashima coffee table, Chinese jades and bronzes, Cartier and other gold boxes, 6 works by Mario Yrisarry, 25 works by Paul Stone, as well as many other works by Savannah artists.
