Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, 4 Woodblocks from A Mirror of Famous Japanese Generals, (Japanese, 1839-1892) comprising the warrior Tada no Manchu c. 1880 (14 3/4 in. x 9 7/8 in., losses in top margin, tear left side, stains, wear to edges, dog eared corners), Yamato Takeru no Mikoto c. 1878-80 (14 3/8 in. x 9 3/4 in., hole in flag upper left corner, pinholes along top edge, wear to edges, dog eared corners, repaired tear mid left side), Emperor Jimmu (14 5/8 in. x 9 3/4 in., multiple tears along top edge, diagonal crease upper right corner, some foxing mainly on lower edge, wear to edges), and Hideyoshi (14 1/2 in. x 9 3/4 in., pin holes top edge, tear top left corner, dog eared corners, wear to edges).MEASURMENTS: Height: of largest 14 3/4 in. x Width: 9 7/8 in.
