Property from a Private Collection, Bluffton, SC
Description:
Whaleship James Arnold Scrimshaw, depicting a masted ship on one side and a whale with harpoon boat on the other side. According to the consignor it was purchased in Mystic, CT, late 1960's. The James Arnold was a whaling ship out of New Bedford, CT., built in 1852.Measurements: Length: 5 3/4in. x Width: 2 3/8 in. x Depth: 1 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, wear to edges.
