Description:
Walter Ronald Locke (American, 1883 - 1949), Two Etchings, comprising 'Florida Pines', pencil signed lower right, with gallery label on front side of glass, and artist biography information on verso (Plate size: 12 1/2 in. x 8 1/2 in.), and 'Against the Wind', pencil signed, dated '39', and titled bottom edge, with clipping from 'Ladies Home Journal' depicting 'Against the Wind' with poem, and clipping of artist biography on verso (Plate size: 8 1/4 in. x 11 3/4 in.), both matted and framed.Measurements: Height: of largest frame 15 3/4 in. x Width: 19 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, both with toning and foxing to paper and mats, not viewed out of frames.
