Description:
Victorian Lacquer Writing Box, Frame and Fan, 19th C, each with mother-of-pearl inlay, the writing box opening to a red velvet lined interior (hinges broken), the frame with eglomise scene of figures, a boat and a castle, the fan decorated with a castle.Measurements: Height: 4 5/8 in. x Width: 15 1/4 in. x Depth: 12 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good condition, see description, losses to eglomise, some wear to edges, the box with broken hinges and some separation at joints and missing the escutcheon, wear to edges.
