Description:
Utagawa Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797-1858), Hakoômaru Meeting Kudô Saemon, Woodblock Print, 19th Century, stamped and signed in print and with pencil label on verso, depicting figures on a balcony with mountain and waterfall in the background, from the series Illustrated Tale of the Soga Brothers, floating in a metal frame. Frame size: 20 1/2 in. x 16 3/8 in.Measurements: Height: of paper 14 1/2 in. x Width: 9 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some toning to paper, wear to edges, rubbing to paper on corners, small creases on edges, light fading.
