Two Painted Porcelain Portrait Plaques of Women, 19th Century, comprising an illegibly signed portrait of a woman in a black dress with white collar with faded pencil inscription and impressed marks '12, E' on verso, in a giltwood frame (frame size: 8 7/8 in. x 6 3/8 in., of plaque: 4 7/8 in. x 3 5/8 in.) , and an unsigned portrait of a women with head scarf, marked 'GOA, France' on verso, in an oval giltwood and velvet frame (Frame size: 11 in. x 9 in., of plaque: 4 1/2 in. x 3 in.).Measurements: Height: of largest frame 11 in. x Width: 9 in.
Condition:
Good condition, some rubbing and wear to paint on edges and faint small scratch in background in center of right edge on illegibly signed portrait, light wear to frames.
