Two Nearly identical Louis XVI Giltwood Open Armchairs, 18th Century, each with oval giltwood back with bow carved crest flanked by open arms above an overupolstered seat raised on circular tapering fluted legs.Measurements: Height: 36 in. x Width: 21 7/8 in. x Depth: 19 1/4 in.
Condition:
Good condition, losses to gilt gesso throughout, wear to edges, repair to front right leg on one chair.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
