Description:
Two Japanese Lacquer Suzuribuko Boxes, one box decorated with gilt waves and birds with flat interior divider (9 3/8 in. x 7 in.x 1 5/8 in., unmarked, crack in bottom right corner and along bottom side of lid, water stains on lid), the other with flower and dragonfly decoration on the lid, opening to a fitted removable interior with original inkstone and fitted area for water dropper (missing water dropper, light wear and scratches, two small chips to lacquer on bottom, minor scratch to center of bottom edge of lid). Together with two inkstones (one broken and repaired) and 18 various inksticks.Measurements: Height: of dragonfly box 9 5/8 in. x Width: 7 1/4 in. x Depth: 1 1/2 in.
