Description:
Two Americana Paintings with Donkeys, Oil on Canvas, both unsigned, two paintings featuring figures and donkeys, in giltwood frames. Frame size: 11 1/8 in. x 13 7/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 8 1/8 in. x Width: 10 7/8 in.
Condition:
Good condition, craquelure, some small areas of inpainting to lower left corner of image with riders, the other with rubbing to paint along edges of canvas and small areas of inpainting in lower right corner and below the donkey, wear to frames, with paint residue along lower edge of one, some chips and small losses.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
