Troughton Brass Sextant in Wood Case, the brass sextant signed on the arc of the frame 'Troughton London' and numbered '1396' on t-form bracket, with a brass arc inset with a scale, with swivel magnifier, adjustable telescope socket and telescope, mirrors, colored shades and hardwood handle. In a wood case with 6 lenses and 2 lens caps. The inside of the lid with remnants of handwritten label.

Measurements: Height: of sextant 4 in. x Width: 12 1/2 in. x Depth: 10 in.


Overall good condition, minor wear and pitting to brass, wood case with marks, scratches and age cracks.
