Description:
Three Civil War Albumen CDV Photographs, the first of General William Rosecrans with spyglass and map, marked 'Published by E. Anthony, 501 Broadway, N.Y.' on verso' (3 3/4 in. x 2 1/2 in.), the second 'Bastion Opposite Battery No. 2 of General McClellan's Works', titled and labeled on verso 'Brady's Album Gallery No. 392', with copyright caption for 1862 below image, the third of Brig. General John B. Magruder with pencil inscription 'Magruder' on verso (4 1/4 in. x 2 3/8 in.).Measurements: Height: of M. B. Brady card 2 1/2 in. x Width: 4 in.
Condition:
Overall good vintage condition, all images fully mounted to cards, wear to edges, toning to paper on all, noticeable toning and small stains on Magruder card, minor foxing, small losses to bottom edge of photo, and small stain in upper right corner of photo on Brady card.
