Thomas Stevens Pure Silk Woven Train, Coventry and London, silk two car train with engine captioned below panel in mat 'woven in silk by Thomas Stevens, inventor and manufacturer, Coventry and London (registered)', titled 'The Present Time, 60 miles an hour', in a silvered wood frame. Frame size: 6 1/2 in. x 9 in.Measurements: Height: by sight of silk 2 in. x Width: 6 in.
Condition:
Fair condition, foxing and toning to fabric, faded, foxing to mat, surface dust under glass, chip to glass top left corner, old retail label on front glass, wear and separation to frame.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
