The Tiffany Studios Collection of Notable Oriental Rugs and Vintage Asprey's London Catalogue, Early 20th C, comprising The Tiffany Studios Collection of Notable Oriental Rugs, 1907, New York, Cambridge University Press, numbered 457/500, with color frontis and a variety of other plates and illustrations, with patterned endpages, John Philip Hill bookplate, 'Presented to John Phillip Hill September 1912' written on numbered page, bound in green (9 1/4 in. x 6 1/2 in. x 5/8 in.), together with Vintage Asprey's London Catalogue, c. 1926, an illustrated catalogue of 'Articles de Luxe' with plates in color and in black and white.Measurements: Height: of Asprey, 11 3/8 in. x Width: 9 in. x Depth: 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, the Tiffany with toning and ghosting throughout, wear to edges of paper, occasional foxing, shelf wear to spine, light wear and fading to covers, the Asprey with interior reinforcement of front hinge, toning particularly to edges, wear and fading to cover with some separation at spine.
