Illustrated with Fine Engravings on Steel, From Designs by Eminent Hands,' published by D. Appleton and Company New York, 1858, with an inscrption by a previous owner in the flyleaf, including engravings of various women featured in the works of Shakespeare including Ophelia, Portia, Lady Macbeth, Desdemona, and Beatrice along with 40 others and descriptions of each character, bound in brown leather with embossed and gilt cover design, spine with six panels, and the pages gilt-edged.Measurements: Height: 11 3/8 in. x Width: 8 1/4 in. x Depth: 2 in.
Condition:
Good used condition, some wear to leather and minor cracks along spine, some light foxing to paper throughout, ghosting from etchings to surrounding pages.Available payment options
