Description:
Signed Sun Liquan, Antique Chinese Scroll Painting, bearing signature of Sun Liquan, inscribed on verso along top edge, depicting a flowering branch. Size of painting:52 7/8 in. x 12 7/8 in.Provenance: Purchased by a collector working for the United States government in occupied Japan in the 1950's.
Measurements: Height: overall 88 in. x Width: 21 5/8 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, toning, foxing and creases throughout, several short horizontal tears along crease lines, repaired losses throughout, some old bug damage, minor stains, tear along top edge near hanger, foxing and some water stains in border.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
