Description:
Set of 10 Portuguese Leatherbound Books, comprising Volumes 30, 37, 44, 67, 72, 91, 103, 106, 110 and 112 of 'O Direito Revista mensal De Legislacao, Doutrina E Jurisprudencia' (Monthly Law Magazine), spanning from 1883 to 1910, funded by Dr. Joao Jose Do Monte, published in Rio De Janeiro, all hard bound in red leather with banded spines and gilt lettering.Measurements: Height: 8 1/2 in. x Width: 6 1/2 in.
Condition:
Fair condition, wear to leather and edges, paper foxed throughout, some staining to covers, paper toned, moisture damage and surface grime.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction. All lots are offered and sold 'as is', and Everard Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition.
