Description:
Savannah Stoneware Cotton Exchange Crock and a Savannah Jug, comprising a 10 in. tall stoneware crock labeled 'The Cotton Exchange, Sav. GA' on front and '2' on back, and a 9 in. x 5 5/8 in. cream glazed jug with blue glaze lettering 'Nicholas Lang., 34, Barnard St. Savannah, GA' on front.Measurements: Height: of crock 10 in. x Width: 9 3/4 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, the crock weathered with wear and chips to edges, fading to lettering, loss near bottom edge, the jug with craquelure, wear and chips to edges, and possible restoration to top rim and handle.
