Russian Miniature Market Scene with Horse and Sleigh, miniature painting of a Russian market scene, with figures, horses and buildings in the background, oil on board, with a gilt metal surround in a wood frame, frame size 4 1/4 in. x 5 3/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 2 in. x Width: 3 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, craquelure and light scratches to surface, some chipping and small loss to paint in female figure lower left, frame scratched with small loss to top edge.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging. Complete condition reports are available by request, no later than 24 hours prior to the live auction.
