Richard MacDonald (American, b. 1946), The Flair, Bronze, 1995, signed 'R. MacDonald', dated '95' and numbered '35/100' on back of ring, on a stepped dark marble base and black square pedestal. Together with a framed photograph of The Flair Fountain and printed dedication. This sculpture is based on his sculpture for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, GA.

Richard MacDonald is a figurative artist known for his bronze sculptures and work with the Cirque du Soleil. MacDonald studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He had a successful career as an illustrator before he turned to sculpture. His work can be found in the corporate collections of AT&T and IBM, among others, as well as many significant private collections. He has completed several notable commissions, including The Flair for the 1996 Summer Olympics.
