Wiadas, Diners After the Hunt, Oil on Canvas, 1881, signed and dated lower left, depicting a jovial dinner scene with huntsmen toasting, eating, and laughing, within a wood paneled room with hunting trophies and tall case clock, with copy of original purchase check for $550 from Donald Powel, in a black painted and giltwood frame. Frame size: 28 in. x 42 in.Measurements: Height: by sight 19 1/2 in. x Width: 33 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good restored condition, craquelure, relined, multiple areas of inpainting particularly in edge of tablecloth, beneath table, left edge, and lower right quadrant.
