Reuben Aaron Miller was a self-taught folk artist known for his drawings and metal cut out multimedia work. Miller was a prolific artist who decorated his own property with hundreds of his own artworks and even sold them on the roadside. His work found its place in pop culture through appearances in R.E.M. music videos in the 1990s and was exhibited by various museums. The Georgia Museum of Art organized a retrospective of Miller's work in 2009. (Roots Up Gallery)
