Portrait Miniature of Queen Henrietta Maria, Oil on Copper, Unsigned, early 19th century, a portrait miniature of Queen Henrietta Maria, wife of Charles I, the young queen with brown hair in ringlets, a wide necked gown and pearl necklace, with a dark background, oil on copper, in a gilt metal oval frame, label on verso reading 'Henrietta Maria Queen of Charles I. Oil on Copper Early 19th c. SJ/WO,' frame size 3 3/8 in. x 2 5/8 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 3 1/8 in. x Width: 2 3/8 in.
Condition:
In good condition, some wear to gilt, surface dust and scratches, tarnished spots on verso, some marks around edges.Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the conditions of aging.
